She married William Maxwell Lewis Hardin Co., Kentucky, 13 Jan 1876. (William Maxwell Lewis is #2014.) William was born Meade Co., Kentucky 20 Dec 1849. William was the son of John A. Lewis and Nancy S. Berry. William died 09 Sep 1897 in Vine Grove, Hardin Co., Kentucky, at 47 years of age. His body was interred Sep 1897 in Vine Grove, Hardin Co., Kentucky, Otter Creek Baptist Church Cemet. Floyd had info showing William M. born abt 1850. With it being that close I went ahead and used the info, but it has not been proven as of yet.

She resided Hardin Co., Kentucky 1880. Mary was listed as the head of a family on the 1900 Census Vine Grove, Hardin Co., Kentucky. 06 Jun 1900 Owned House free. Mary's occupation was Housekeeper.

8 i. Clayton W.³ Lewis (#2376) was born 06 Nov 1876. Clayton died 15 Nov 1876 in Vine Grove, Hardin Co., Kentucky, at less than one year of age. His body was interred Nov 1876 in Vine Grove, Hardin Co., Kentucky, Otter Creek Baptist Church Cemet.

9 ii. Emmett J. Lewis (#3713) was born in Kentucky Aug 1878. He resided Hardin Co., Kentucky 1880. He resided Vine Grove, Hardin Co., Kentucky 1900.

+ 10 iii. John Ellis Lewis was born 24 Jun 1883.
