Rebecca and George owned 80 acres of land 1 mile west of Gravel Hill in Northwest Twp., Williams Co., Ohio. Reportedly, he was the first postmaster of the local area, this is noted in the book: THE HILLS OF HOME, by R. K. McLain, page 80.
