He married Christina ?. (Christina ? is #368.) Christina was born Sweden 19 Dec 1831. Christina died 16 Jul 1908 Chatanooga, Hamilton, Tennesee, USA, at 76 years of age. Christina became the mother of Albert G. Olson Sweden. Christina became the mother of Charles W. Olson Sweden. Christina became the mother of Hanning Olson USA. Christina became the mother of Christina Olson Sweden. At 31 years of age Christina became the mother of John Eric Olson Arbega Vestamaland, Sweden, 25 Sep 1863.

Andrew became the father of Albert G. Olson Sweden. Andrew became the father of Charles W. Olson Sweden. Andrew became the father of Hanning Olson USA. Andrew became the father of Christina Olson Sweden. At 31 years of age Andrew became the father of John Eric Olson Arbega Vestamaland, Sweden, 25 Sep 1863. In 1869, Mr and Mrs. Andrew Olson and their five children, Anna, Christine, Albert, Erie and Charles left their home near the beautiful little village of Surahammar in Vestmanland, Sweden, to make a new home in America. The principal industry in Surahammar at that time was a steel plant where wheels for railroad cars were made. This plant is still in operation, but in a modern plant. The church in which the family worshipped was built in the 12th century and is still in good condition. Since a new church was built, a number of years ago, this old church is used as a museum. We have been told that as the family left their home, a group of relatives accompanied them in their spring wagons, several miles to the Railway Station in Kolback. It was a very sad journey for all as they felt that they may never see each other again. That proved to be the case. They corresponded however during the years which followed. The family arrived in Githinburg, Sweden, where they embarked. The voyage was made by way of England and the landed in Quebec, Canada. They went direct to Lawrence Kansas, where they lived until Grandfather had taken up a homestead on 110 Creek in osage County. Here two more children were born, Hanning and Sophie. In a few years this homestead was greatly improved. It was a good farm and a good orchard was planted. An attractive two story house was built. A long row of poplar trees was planted inside the stone fence along the road and a attractive wide iron gate installed at the entrance. They retired from the farm in about 1893 and moved to 222 Buchanan Street, Topeka, Ks. Later they moved to 1015 Clay Street in Topeka where Grandfather passed away in 1908. Grandmother passed away in 1908 at the home of Aunt Sophie, who then lived in Chattanooga, Tenn. She was brought back to Topeka by Uncle Charle for burial beside her husband in Topeka Cemetery. Their grave are maked by a very nice stone and are markd for perpetual care. They are decorated with flowers each Memorial Day. During most of the time their home was in Topeka, Aunt Sophie lived with them and was employed in the Treasurer's Department of the Santa Fe Railway Co. She now lives at 50 Morningside Drive, New York City. Her name is Mrs. L.C.P. Lohman. Aunt Callie, wife of Uncle Charlie is living in Evanston, Ill. Three of her children are living in the Chicago area and two are living in the East..........
