16. Evaline⁴ Haughey (Robert³, Robert², Robert¹) (#3623) was born Steubenville, Jefferson Co., Ohio 19 Sep 1822. Evaline died 12 Jun 1888 Steuben Co., Indiana, at 65 years of age. Her body was interred Jun 1888 Pleasant Lake, Steuben Co., Indiana.

She married David Snowberger Wayne Co., Ohio, 20 Feb 1845. (David Snowberger is #3624.) David was born Waynesboro, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania 17 Aug 1820. David died 07 Mar 1900 Ashley, Steuben Co., Indiana, at 79 years of age. His body was interred Mar 1900 Pleasant Lake, Steuben Co., Indiana. David Snowberger was born near Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, August 7th, 1820 and died at the home of his son, Peter Snowberger, near Ashley, Steuben County, (Indiana) March 7th, 1900, aged 79 years and 7 months. He with his parents moved from Pennsylvania to Ashland County, Ohio, when he was quite young. February 21, 1845 he was married to Evoline Haughey. To this union were born eight children, seven sons and one daughter, five sons surviving them, two sons and the daughter dying in infancy. In the spring of 1848 he came to Steuben County and entered the land he owned at the time of his death. On May 10th of the same year he received a sheep skin deed for his landm from the land offices at Ft. Wayne, Indiana. This deed has the signature of President James K. Polk. After locating his land he returned to Ohio for his family. In October they arrived at their new home in Steuben County, where thry resided until June 12, 1888 when his wife died. Since that time he has made his home with his sons. Mr. Snowberger was a man of sterling integrity and was honored by all who met him, an affectionate husband and father. He with his wife in early years united with the German Baptist Church and always lived christian lives. Funeral services were held at the East church in Pleasant Lake, Friday, March 9th, 1900, J. H. Elson Officiating.

42 vii. Timothy E. Snowberger (#3796) was born 24 May 1858. Timothy died 18 Dec 1945 at 87 years of age. His body was interred Dec 1945 Pleasant Lake, Steuben Co., Indiana.

43 viii. Alva Snowberger (#3797) was born 1863. Alva died 1934 at 71 years of age. His body was interred 1934 Steuben Co., Indiana, O-Hudson Cemetery. He married Lillie May Teeters. (Lillie May Teeters is #3798.) Lillie was born 1868. Her body was interred Steuben Co., Indiana, O-Hudson Cemetery.
