3. Deacon Samuel³ Stocking (George², George¹) (#5235) was born in Hartford, Connecticut 1620. Deacon died 30 Dec 1683 in Middleton, Connecticut, at 63 years of age.

He married Bethia Hopkins in Hartford, Connecticut, 27 May 1652. (Bethia Hopkins is #5237.) Bethia was born in Connecticut Abt 1635. Bethia was the daughter of John Hopkins and Jane Strong. Bethia died 1698 at 63 years of age. At 28 years of age Bethia became the mother of George Stocking in Connecticut, 20 Feb 1663/64. Came to America on the Mayflower.

At 43 years of age Deacon became the father of George Stocking in Connecticut, 20 Feb 1663/64.

Deacon Samuel Stocking and Bethia Hopkins had the following child:
