He married twice. He married Susan Cheney. (Susan Cheney is #546.) He married Lydia Atwell 29 Dec 1831. (Lydia Atwell is #545.) Lydia was born 18 Oct 1808. Lydia died 18 Sep 1846 at 37 years of age.

David Crossman and Lydia Atwell had the following children:

37 i. Sarah J.³ Crossman (#576) was born 29 Nov 1832. Sarah died WFT Est. 1864-1926. She married J. H. Hamilton 29 Nov 1859. (J. H. Hamilton is #577.)

38 ii. Courtland Crossman (#578) was born 29 Sep 1837. Courtland died WFT Est. 1876-1928. He married Eliza Fischer 31 Dec 1868. (Eliza Fischer is #579.)
