He married Sarah E. Beck Bef 1861. (Sarah E. Beck is #5409.) Sarah became the mother of Julia E. Maggart 22 May 1861. Sarah became the mother of Joseph Milton Maggart Indiana, 1863. Sarah became the mother of Mary V. Maggart Indiana, 1867. Sarah became the mother of James Maggart Indiana, 1872. Sarah became the mother of Osa Maggart Aft 1880.

David was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census Burlington Twp., Carroll Co., Indiana. At 29 years of age David became the father of Julia E. Maggart 22 May 1861. At 31 years of age David became the father of Joseph Milton Maggart Indiana, 1863. At 35 years of age David became the father of Mary V. Maggart Indiana, 1867. At 40 years of age David became the father of James Maggart Indiana, 1872. David became the father of Osa Maggart Aft 1880.

275 iii. Mary V. Maggart (#5453) was born Indiana 1867. Maggie died 8 Apr 1888 at 20 years of age.

276 iv. James Maggart (#5454) was born Indiana 1872.

277 v. Osa Maggart (#5455) was born Aft 1880.
