She married Benjamin Hale in Middleton, Connecticut, 30 Jun 1756. (Benjamin Hale is #5251.) Benjamin was born in Middleton, Connecticut 24 Oct 1736. Benjamin was the son of Benoni Hale and Martha Smith. Benjamin died Sep 1776 in Connecticut, at 39 years of age. At 29 years of age Benjamin became the father of Abigail Hale 04 Apr 1766. At 31 years of age Benjamin became the father of Benjamin Hale 1768. At 34 years of age Benjamin became the father of Abiah Hale New York, 1771. At 39 years of age Benjamin became the father of Phebe Hale 1776.

At 31 years of age Abigail became the mother of Abigail Hale 04 Apr 1766. At 34 years of age Abigail became the mother of Benjamin Hale 1768. At 37 years of age Abigail became the mother of Abiah Hale New York, 1771. At 42 years of age Abigail became the mother of Phebe Hale 1776.

Abigail Stocking and Benjamin Hale had the following children:

10 i. Abigail⁷ Hale (#5254) was born 04 Apr 1766.

11 ii. Benjamin Hale (#5255) was born 1768.

12 iii. Abiah Hale (#5256) was born New York 1771. Abiah died Aft 1840 Ky or Ms. She married Roger Filley in Litchfield, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, 21 May 1792. (Roger Filley is #5257.) Roger was born in Litchfield, Litchfield Co., Connecticut 05 May 1771. Roger was the son of Deacon Abraham Filley. Roger died 1816 Caldwell Co., Kentucky, at 45 years of age.

13 iv. Phebe Hale (#5259) was born 1776.
