269. Daniel Burl⁶ Maggart (Reuben⁵, Nancy⁴ Hullinger, Ann³ Shockey, Valentine², Johann Christoffel (Shockey)¹ Schake) (#5442) was born Indiana 31 Oct 1858. Daniel died 25 Jun 1939 Indiana, at 80 years of age. His body was interred Aft 25 Jun 1939 Carroll Co., Indiana, Ball Hill Cemetery.

He married twice. He married Renee ? Bef 1885. (Renee ? is #5443.) He married Anna Brim Indiana, 1 Nov 1885. (Anna Brim is #5444.) Anna became the mother of Marva Maggart Indiana, 1887.

At 28 years of age Daniel became the father of Marva Maggart Indiana, 1887. Burl lost 9,000 in a stock deal. He waited out in the road with a shotgun for the man who swindled him.⁽⁵⁸⁾
