5. Samuel⁵ Stocking (George⁴, Deacon Samuel³, George², George¹) (#5245) was born in Middleton, Connecticut 16 Oct 1700. Samuel died 21 Jul 1772 in Chatham, Connecticut, at 71 years of age.

He married Abiah Boardman in Middleton, Connecticut, 20 Jul 1726. (Abiah Boardman is #5246.) Abiah was born in Wethersfield, Hartford Co, Connecticut 19 Nov 1704. Abiah was the daughter of Samuel Boardman and Mehitabel Cadwell. Abiah died 13 Oct 1767 in Middleton, Connecticut, at 62 years of age. At 29 years of age Abiah became the mother of Abigail Stocking in Chatham, Connecticut, 30 Jun 1734.

At 33 years of age Samuel became the father of Abigail Stocking in Chatham, Connecticut, 30 Jun 1734.
