He married twice. He married Clara Blakey Madison Co., Virginia, 22 Dec 1808. (Clara Blakey is #4636.) Clara became the mother of Thomas Buford Lewis 23 Sep 1809. Clara became the mother of Clara Lewis Sep 1813. He married Mary Thomas 07 Jun 1814. (Mary Thomas is #4637.) Mary became the mother of Thurman B. Lewis Aft 1814. Mary became the mother of John P. Lewis Aft 1815. Mary became the mother of William L. Lewis Aft 1816. Mary became the mother of Henry L. Lewis Aft 1817. Mary became the mother of David T. Lewis 1821.

At 24 years of age Abraham became the father of Thomas Buford Lewis 23 Sep 1809. At 28 years of age Abraham became the father of Clara Lewis Sep 1813. Abraham became the father of Thurman B.
